Castle Music Studio exists today as the result of many factors.  Primarily because, after years of studying piano in our youth, We had a dream of opening our own music and creative studio, and we were eager to give students the gift of music and unrealized creativity.

Shani Castle attended Michigan State University as a Classical Piano Performance Major.  While at MSU, she performed with jazz bands, studied piano pedagogy, and completed K-12 music education classes. After getting married in 2000, she transferred to Wayne State University in Detroit, MI, where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music. 

She initially taught out of her home, and later opened her own private studio while in Detroit. She closed down her studio and then moved to Florida with her family in 2016. She became a Music Director at a school, and began teaching Music Appreciation classes, Music Theory, Piano, Chorus, and Musical Theatre to students from grades Pre-K to 12th Grade. She currently teaches children and adult piano and voice lessons, and teaches at two different schools, as well as teaching online.

She has a passion for creating a fun and challenging lesson environment that is tailor-made with each student in mind. Since starting as a music educator in 2000, her results are a testament to the fact that she has a system that works!  

Wayne Castle is a multidisciplinary creative and seasoned musician with over three decades of experience, but he didn’t always feel like he belonged.

As a kid, he didn’t see himself as the most talented in the room. He studied classical music and jazz in college, but it was the combination of academic learning and real-world experience, from local stages to international tours, that helped him uncover hidden strengths and reframe what “gifted” really means.

Over the years, Wayne has performed and taught across the globe, orchestrating for film and symphony, leading workshops in the U.S., Poland, Bulgaria, and the Czech Republic, and mentoring musicians and creatives of all kinds. Today, he leads a team of artists, from videographers and actors to singers and dancers, and continues creating through short stories, poetry, and film production.

Wayne’s ability to simplify complex ideas and connect with the overlooked has made him a trusted voice for those who feel unsure of their creative calling.
